♦A fine art painting inspired by Goethe’s classical theatre play. Intense contrasts and the essence of duality are the main characteristics of the painting. Materials used are acrylics on deep edge cotton canvas whilst the study is exploring the relationship between the boundary and complementary colours, based on Goethe’s Theory of Colours.
The painting was produced between 2016-2017.
